TURTLE BEACH CORPORATION BRINGS GROUNDBREAKING DIRECTED AUDIO HEARING HEALTHCARE SOLUTION – HYPERSOUND CLEAR™ – TO 2015 HLAA CONVENTION

San Diego, CA – June 25, 2015 – Turtle Beach Corporation (NASDAQ: HEAR), the leading-edge audio technology company today announced its first-of-its-kind hearing healthcare solution for individuals with hearing loss, HyperSound Clear™, will be available for show attendees to experience at Booth #225 at the 2015 HLAA Convention, taking place today through June 27th at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.

In addition to being among some of the first hearing healthcare professionals to try HyperSound Clear before it launches later this year, HLAA convention attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from Turtle Beach’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for the HyperSound® business – Rodney Schutt, along with the Company’s Senior Director of Clinical Affairs – Dr. Brian Taylor, Au.D., during a hosted presentation called Hear Every Word™ on Friday, June 26th from 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Rodney Schutt joined Turtle Beach in September 2014 to lead the Company’s HyperSound business, bringing with him significant leadership experience in the hearing healthcare and medical device market, including roles as CEO of Unitron Hearing and Luminetx, President of Widex, Inc., and 18 years in senior positions in General Electric’s medical and healthcare businesses. Additionally, Mr. Schutt just joined HLAA’s Consumer Technology Board of Advisors.

Dr. Brian Taylor is a syndicated thought leader in the hearing healthcare industry. Prior to joining Turtle Beach’s HyperSound team earlier this year, he served as Director of Practice Development and Clinical Affairs for Unitron Hearing, and has held a variety of leadership and management positions within the healthcare industry in both the United States and Europe. Dr. Taylor spent the first 15 years of his career practicing clinical audiology in medical and retail settings. His current associations include A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences, Adjunct Professor; Fuel Medical Group, Audiology Advisor; Audiology Practices, quarterly journal of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, Editor; and Audiology Online, Contributing Editor. Dr. Taylor has also published over 50 articles and book chapters on topics related to hearing aids, diagnostic audiology and business management, and authored four textbooks: Fitting and Dispensing Hearing Aids, Consultative Selling Skills for Audiologists, Quality in an Audiology: Design & Implementation of the Patient Experience, and Marketing in an Audiology Practice.

Leveraging Turtle Beach’s patented directional audio technology, HyperSound Clear offers a fundamentally new approach to sound delivery. Similar to the way a flashlight beams a ray of light, HyperSound Clear beams sound directly to targeted listeners, which has been shown to improve sound clarity and speech intelligibility in individuals with hearing loss. When sitting in the “HyperSound beam,” people with hearing loss experience immersive, 3D audio; and at the same time, everyone else in the room hears audio at a normal volume level delivered through the TV speakers or home theater system. This means that people with hearing loss, along with family members and friends, can once again return to the family room to enjoy the latest home entertainment together, whether watching their favorite movies and TV shows, enjoying the latest music or playing video games.
