Juergen Stark, CEO and Chairman

Juergen Stark joined Turtle Beach in 2012 as CEO, president, and a board director, and was unanimously appointed to serve as chairman of the board in 2020. Mr. Stark has led the Company’s share and brand leadership in console gaming headsets while retiring all long-term debt and completing two significant acquisitions, including ROCCAT Gmbh in 2019 to drive the Company’s expansion into PC accessories, and in 2021 with the acquisition of Neat Microphones as the Company expanded into the digital microphone market. Before joining Turtle Beach, Juergen was the CEO for Motorola Mobility Holdings, Inc.’s multi-billion dollar mobile devices business. Prior to that role, he ran multiple hardware and software businesses in the consumer, enterprise, and government sectors for Motorola. Prior to Motorola, he was CEO of Centerpost Corporation, a technology company he co-founded.


William Keitel, Lead Independent Director

Bill Keitel joined the Turtle Beach board of directors in 2014 and serves as the Company’s lead independent director and chairman of the Audit Committee. In 2013 Bill retired after 11 years as CFO of Qualcomm Inc. In his 17 years in senior financial roles with Qualcomm, the company grew revenues from approximately $800 million to approximately $25 billion. Prior to Qualcomm, Bill held senior financial roles at Nortel and PepsiCo. Bill brings significant financial, accounting, and public company management expertise to the board.


Dr. Andrew Wolfe, Director

Andrew Wolfe joined Turtle Beach’s board of directors in 2014 and is chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. Andy founded Wolfe Consulting in 2002 and serves as a technology and intellectual property consultant in the consumer electronics, computer, and semiconductor industries. He also testifies and serves as a consulting expert for intellectual property and other technology-related litigation matters. Previously, Andy was CTO for SONICblue, Inc. (formerly S3, Inc.). He also serves as a lecturer at Santa Clara University. Andy brings significant technology, intellectual property, and licensing experience to the board.


Greg Ballard, Director

Greg Ballard joined Turtle Beach’s board of directors in 2017 and is chairman of the Compensation Committee. Greg currently serves as general partner of Eleven Ventures, an operationally focused seed venture investment fund. Prior to joining Eleven Ventures, Greg served as SVP of Mobile, Social and Emerging Platforms as well as SVP of Digital Games for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. He also served as president & CEO of Glu Mobile Inc., a publisher of mobile video games, and has held senior management roles for Virgin USA, SONICblue, Inc.,, 3DFX Interactive, Time Warner, and Capcom. Greg has previously served on the boards of DTS Inc., Glu Mobile Inc., Pinnacle Systems, Inc., Imagine Games Network, and THQ Inc. Greg brings significant games industry, mobile, content, and company management experience to the board.


Kelly Thompson, Director

Kelly Thompson joined Turtle Beach’s board of directors in 2019 and is a member of the Company’s Nominating and Governance Committee. Kelly currently serves on the Board of Directors for First Hawaiian Bank, a bank holding company headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, for a.k.a. Brands, a San Francisco direct-to-consumer fashion brands company, and for Bolt Threads, a sustainable biomaterial solutions company also based in San Francisco, California. Kelly previously served as COO of and as a member of Sam’s Club Leadership Committee with responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar omni P&L as well as the “Digital” strategic workstream. Prior to, Kelly was SVP, Global Category Development for Walmart eCommerce and SVP Merchandising, Planning and Marketplace for Additionally, she spent 10 years in key merchandising leadership roles at Gap, Inc. Kelly brings a wealth of retail, merchandising, and eCommerce expertise to the board.


Yie-Hsin Hung, Director

Yie-Hsin Hung joined Turtle Beach’s board of directors in 2021 and is a member of the Company’s Nominating and Governance, and Compensation Committees. Yie-Hsin is currently CEO of New York Life Investment Management – a global asset manager with more than $400 billion of assets under management – a role she’s held since 2015. Ms. Hung has been with New York Life Investment Management since 2010, and prior to serving as CEO she held other leadership roles within the company, including being Co-President, Head of Institutional Investments, and Head of Alternative Investments. Before joining New York Life Investment Management, she worked at a number of investment firms, including Bridgewater Associates and Morgan Stanley. Ms. Hung brings over 30 years of capital markets and investment management experience to the board.
